For more than 15 years, Dr. Darren Koch has worked as a dentist in Cary, providing local families with exceptional family and cosmetic dentistry. With the end of 2016 quickly approaching, the conference featured some of the latest advancements in dentistry to start the new year with the most elite technology to enhance patient care.
Absolute 8th Annual Conference
This year, the Absolute Annual Conference was held in November at the Sheraton Imperial, covering the featured topic—The Future is Now… Digital Dentistry, From Impressions to Products. During the event, Dr. Koch was pleased to feature digital products, while also being apart of an exceptional line-up of 4 local speakers. We had the opportunity to share our experiences in a 20-minute power presentation format. With so much great information to be shared, we did not have time for fluff– just real life facts, shared by colleagues, discussing their involvement with digital dentistry.
The focus behind each annual conference is to bring the latest technologies, methodologies, and information to those in the dental field. Dentistry is constantly evolving and diversifying. It can be difficult for dentists to remain current with all the changes. For example, Dr. Koch received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2001, but his academic training did not stop there. After graduating with honors and in the top 15 percent of his class, he went on to complete externships in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. Later, he completed training in cosmetic and implant dentistry, as well as advanced general dentistry. Today, he is continuing his education in several areas, including Invisalign, implant dentistry, and sleep apnea therapy.
